About
the Cartoon
what
a nerd!
What's
to tell? The main character, if there is a main character, is Homer
Noodleman-- a Candide-kinda-guy who displays great insight and great
stupidity, often in the same strip.
Here's
a strip that supposedly explains the cartoon... The author refers
to it when he forgets what he's doing with a pen in his hand.

The
cartoons that appear on this webpage include both vintage and new Noodleman
strips. You can e-mail the author at noodleman@onewwworld.com.
Letter
from Walker Percy
serious stuff, this!
Early
in 1988, I received a letter from the late Walker Percy, my favorite
author, the Kierkegaard of the South.

Here's the
cartoon he liked:

The
archive above includes several strips the author sent Dr. Percy.
